Tommy Sept. 12
This week at the mtc was just another week. Lots of time sitting in a classroom and learning about the gospel. We got a new investigator (Olivia) and she is really responding well to our message. Last night we got to hear from M. Russell Ballard and he talked about how us as missionaries need to get over ourselves, smile, open our mouths and get to work. That was probably the most powerful devotional I’ve ever heard. Last night we also said our goodbyes to our teachers and our district. We said goodbye to Sister Swallow and Brother Elg. We had a testimony meeting as a district and Sister Terry’s testimony really struck me. She talked about how us as missionaries are here to tell the world the importance of families and how we can be together forever. Today Elder Ward, Virgin, Parkllan, Ivory and I embark on our 25 hour flight to adelaide. IM so excited but the heat might just kill me. Glad to hear that Benny hates cross country as much as me. Tell him that I say he should try out for every sport and get involved as much as he can at Midsun. Drew go crush some jrs, show them who’s boss.
